Christmas Concert

Hi parents!

Our Christmas concert will be held the evening of December 21st. A newsletter went home earlier this month with more information. A few things that are exclusive to our room are as follows:

Each student will need a pair of sunglasses (preferably dark) and a Santa hat. If you aren't able to send these things with your child, or happen to have extra, please let me (Miss S) know as soon as you can! (cschmelinsky@mail.gssd.ca)
Your child may have already mentioned to you that they also have the option to make a guitar to "fancy up" our performance. We don't have any class time to make them, but all the materials are at the school. Students have the option to stay in for a recess with me to make their guitars, but they may also make them at home. If you would like to help them, you are more than welcome to! If you require materials, please write me a note in his or her agenda so I can send some home. Your child may tell you that these "materials" are just cardboard, string and fancy duck tape. This is correct :) I've told them that they can decorate these "guitars" however they wish, using these fancy tapes, markers; anything. If students will be making them at home, I ask they be no more than one meter in length. (Any larger, and we may not all fit on the stage).
